We’re on the lookout for a Social Media Manager to join our growing team! 


Working closely with our Strategy, Creative and Digital departments, you’ll be instrumental in shaping social media projects and retainer work for our clients. 


This is a great opportunity for an established Social Media Manager (or Community Manager), or an experienced Social Media Executive who’s looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to make their mark. For the right person, there is a lot of scope to progress far in this role at Rascal.


About The Role

  • Contribute towards the strategy and planning for social media clients
  • Help to create and manage exciting and impactful Social Media campaigns
  • Manage the day-to-day activity and strategy implementation on assigned social media accounts
  • Support with Community Management on client accounts 
  • Set achievable but aspirational KPIs across accounts to be signed off with the strategy lead, and ensuring all campaigns are consistently driving towards achieving and exceeding these KPIs
  • Manage all owned work streams including content calendars and briefs in the wider team to support
  • Work with the Strategy & Creative teams on creative planning and content calendar brainstorms
  • Take the lead with on-the-fly social media specific content creation – briefing in support from the Creative team as needed
  • Manage reports across all social media accounts, briefing in the wider team to support 
  • Keep on top of industry insights and report back to the team
  • Manage and attend shoots and oversee on all content edits with production team
  • Work with the digital team closely on strategies, testing and reviews all ads before optimised
  • Support on new business development, proposals and attend pitches when required
  • Confident in a presentation environment whether its a new business pitch, weekly team meetings or client meetings
  • Has an impeccable eye for detail, ensuring the highest quality of activity across client accounts


Key skills and experience

  • 2+ years experience in a Social Media Management role
  • In depth knowledge of social media platforms including: Facebook Business Manager, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • In depth knowledge of the different content/publishing formats across platforms, specifically Instagram and Tik Tok
  • Good knowledge of both native and 3rd party social media management/analytics platforms and tools
  • Excellent organisational skills with a proven track record
  • Strong analytical, reporting and presentation skills
  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts
  • Experience of working with creative team members 
  • An understanding of the creative process, from briefing to delivery
  • Excellent email and digital comms etiquette – always striving to be on point, organised, clear and concise
