Johnnie Walker asked Rascal to re-purpose existing video footage from their ATL campaign to create engaging content for Instagram Stories.
The popular whiskey brand had developed a series of videos for its upcoming seasonal promotions including Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day and summer drinks. The results were somewhat dated and not suitable in format or tone for the social media platform and audience.

A consistent template

Working with the brand elements we built a template using motion graphics to frame the footage that could work across each of the different occasions whilst maintaining a consistent and recognisable look.

A clear message

A bold use of title design enhanced the footage and made it more suited to the social media platforms where a younger audience could be reached. The idea of ‘real moments’ was created to make sense of the different seasonal videos and helped tie them together as a single campaign.
